Dr. Carlos Casas, M.D.

Dr. Carlos Casas is a bilingual (English-Spanish) Board Certified Neurosurgeon with over 15 years of experience working with men and women of all ages. He currently has offices in Hollywood and Boca Raton, Florida, and is committed to treating all conditions related to the spine, specializing in minimally invasive spine surgery (MISS). Having received his medical doctor degree from the Universidad de la Sabana School of Medicine, Colombia, in 2001, Dr. Casas is well versed in international treatment options. Since then, he’s completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Spinal Cord Injury and Neuroregeneration at the Miami Project to Cure Paralysis through the University of Miami, an internship in general surgery at Jackson Memorial Hospital and the Veterans Affairs Healthcare System for the University of Miami, a residency in neurosurgery at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, as well as a fellowship in comprehensive spine surgery and radiosurgery at Stanford University School of Medicine in California.Dr. Casas is known for his comprehensive approach to managing all spinal conditions and pain. He works with many physicians in the community and is excited to be spearheading the newest treatment options through his practice Comprehensive NeuroSpine.He is a member of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, the Florida Neurological Society, the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, and the North American Spine Society.Dr. Casas came to South Florida to enjoy the tropical climate, the beaches, and to be near his family and friends. When he is not working, he enjoys all outdoor activities, and his favorite hobby is diving.
